Seoul and Washington have again failed to reach a new deal on sharing the costs of American troops in South Korea despite their unprecedented decision to extend their talks in Los Angeles by another day.
That's according to South Korea's foreign ministry.
There are around 28-thousand troops in the country.
The U.S. has warned repeatedly that if there's no deal, then nearly 9-thousand South Koreans who work for U.S. Forces Korea could be put on unpaid leave starting in April.
