North Korea has again extended vacations for all schools and universities in order to prevent a coronavirus outbreak within the country.
A source from Pyeongyang said Wednesday that this is the second extension of the new school year after an emergency order was issued to postpone all classes for one month on Friday 20th February.
Normally, classes resume during the first week of March in North Korea.
The source also said that students were ordered to refrain from outdoor activities and study at home. An exact start date for the new school year is yet to be announced but classes are expected to start again in mid-April.
