South Korea's former archery world champion Kim Jin-ho has been named this year's International Olympic Committee Women and Sport Award winner for Asia.
Here she is speaking after receiving the honor.
"I think men and women should cooperate to make sure they have the same rights so they can create something great together."
Kim won the World Archery Championships in 1979 to become the first ever Korean archery world champion.
The IOC says she has successfully advocated for increased female representation within national sports governing bodies.
The 58-year old also founded the Myeong-goong Councilwhich provides free archery lessons and scholarships to children, especially girls.
