S. Korean SMEs report record-low outlook for March due to COVID-19 Updated: 2020-02-27 16:32:18 KST

The business outlook among South Korea's small and medium-size companies fell to a record low in March because of the coronavirus.
According to Korea Federation of SMEs on Thursday, the small business health index for March came to 78.5.
That's far below the benchmark of 100, meaning there are more pessimists than optimists, and it's down more than eight points from the same month a year earlier.
As for why, the report pointed to an overall drop in the service sector.
