S. Korea to strengthen cooperation with other countries for Korean peace process: NSC Updated: 2019-12-12 17:31:16 KST

South Korea's presidential office, following the UN meeting on North Korea, has said it will continue to strengthen its cooperation with other regional players so that the Korean peace process produces practical results.
The National Security Council, in its weekly meeting today, agreed to support the early resumption of working-level talks between Pyeongyang and Washington to spur on the peace process.
The North has set a year-end deadline for the U.S. to make concessions, so it's also possible that the Council discussed ways to find breakthrough in inter-Korean dialogue.
The Council also talked strategy for the negotiations on sharing the costs of stationing American troops here.
