N. Korea-U.S. NUKE TALKS BACK TO SQUARE ONE? Updated: 2019-12-09 16:29:00 KST

North Korea has warned the U.S. it has until the end of this year, now the end of this month, to come up with a new approach to resolve their nuclear deadlock.
Making sure the U.S. is reminded of that deadline, the North has recently carried out a series of provocations, and over the weekend, it announced it has conducted what it calls a test of 'great significance' at its Sohae Satellite launch site in Dongchang-ri, located close to its northern border with China.
To this, President Trump said Kim Jong-un risks losing "everything" if he continues with such actions.
But in the latest move amid re-escalating North Korea-U.S. tensions, Pyeongyang has released another statement telling Washington that North Korea has nothing more to lose.
Today we go in-depth on the re-escalating tensions between Pyeongyang and Washington with Dr. CHUNG Ku-youn, Political Science professor at Kangwon National University.
