South Korea further enhanced its already heady reputation as a powerhouse of women's golf on Monday with South Korean golfers taking up the top three spots in the latest world rankings.
LPGA rookie sensation Lee Jeong-eun moved up a spot to reach a career-high number 3, while Ko Jin-young, who has lifted four LPGA trophies this season alone, remained at number 1 for the 10th week in a row, followed by Park Sung-hyun at number 2.
The rankings system, which evaluates performances over a rolling two-year period, was introduced in 2006, and this is the first time that three golfers from the same country have occupied the top three places.
South Korean golfers have a combined 13 victories in 26 LPGA tournaments so far in 2019.
