Also helping put to rest rumors of differences between the allies -- U.S. Forces Korea commander General Robert Abrams will be joining this week's annual Seoul Defense Dialogue.
It's a multilateral meeting on security held to promote peace and stability in Northeast Asia and to improve security in the Asia-Pacific region.
A military source confirmed today that General Abrams will be attending this Thursday.
That had not been confirmed by the U.S. side until now, which had helped fuel concerns.
This will be the first time the meeting's been attended by a commander of U.S. forces Korea.
And he'll be joined by representatives of some 50 countries and five international organizations.
