Apple has for the first time revealed the number of people it employs in Korea -- 500 people directly employed as of June 30th.
The figures were posted on Apple's South Korea job creation website.
The iPhone maker also said it's created more than 320-thousand jobs in the country, partnering with some two-hundred local suppliers.
The website implies that Apple's intends to invest more in South Korea, considering it a crucial market.
For the past several years, Apple has opened similar websites for major markets such as the U.S., Japan and Europe.
