Mitsubishi says it will not respond to S. Korean plaintiffs' request: Kyodo News Updated: 2019-07-15 16:15:32 KST

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries appears likely to ignore today's deadline set by South Korean plaintiffs to hold talks about compensating forced Korean laborers during World War Two.
The plaintiffs said they will take action to liquidate Mitsubishi's local assets if it passed the deadline.
Kyodo News reported that the company had no plan to respond to the demand.
Mitsubishi's assets in Korea have already been seized by the South Korean government after the Supreme Court ruled that the company must compensate the victims.
