Old-fashioned, Not out of Style
Ikseon-dong in Jongno-gu became the last place in Seoul to be designated as a hanok (traditional Korean house) village. It is a burgeoning neighborhood that draws visitors with its old-fashioned look and air of nostalgia. Once you are there, young people in clothing inspired by the early 1900s fashion style will instantly catch your eye. And we will take you to the clothing rental shop where some of them created their vintage-inspired look! There is a building that looks like an old, rundown hotel on the outside, but when you step inside, you will be surprised by its vintage-inspired interior design. The hotel building, erected in 1979, has been renovated into a café, and you will easily spot people in clothes that perfectly suit its “Enlightenment Period" theme. We take you to Ikseon-dong, where you feel like you have traveled back in time!
