Recently, more cases of brain wave analyzation is increasing, thereby increasing fields in which it is applied! Brain waves are signals that flow out of the brain every minute. Brain waves are used in various areas, for it provides useful information that analyzes human thoughts and feelings quickly and accurately. In particular, brain wave is widely used in mental health care area. Traditionally, psychological counseling has been used to identify patient’s condition, but now, brain waves are used to help manage stress by measuring stress level at an objective level. Therefore, it is now used in public health centers, businesses, and more, leading to satisfaction from users. The field of architecture is also making a new attempt of using brain waves. This is called neuroarchitecture, which changes spatial design with information obtained by measuring brain waves. The space designed by the architect can be converted into a VR image through brain wave measurement. It can also convert the user’s feelings of interest and stability of space into numerical values. Moreover, it is gradually evolving into technology where one can operate a computer or a machine using brain waves. Now, one can remotely control a robot without touching anything. This means that brain waves can not only analyze people’s thoughts and feelings, but even remotely control the machine! We explore more about Electroencephalography application technology that makes all this possible.
Crimes using digital devices are increasing at a rapid speed, and the use of digital forensic is increasing as well. As a scientific investigation technique that analyzes data contained in digital devices and obtains definitive evidence of criminal investigations, increasing number of agencies are specializing in forensics and more investigation institutions are directly applying forensics. Usually, the technique is used as a way of recovering destroyed evidence from computers, smartphones, closed circuit television, and more, which are seized from the suspect. As digital forensic investigative technique is popularized, it is also used in investigative institutions. In the past, digital forensic operation has been entrusted to private forensic agencies to collect necessary evidence. However now, the phenomenon of proactively dealing with increasingly intelligent crime is a huge advantage for digital forensic centers. In addition, private organizations that previously specialized in digital forensics are gradually expanding the market by enlarge its scope. Regardless of the type of device, any desired restoration is possible and analyzation can be done in fine detail. As scope of digital forensic and the number of investigative agencies are increasing, specialist training institutions are increasing as well. We introduce digital forensic that makes forensic investigation in Korea proud by restoring invisible evidence.
Untact marketing is attracting attention from people of the modern era who wish to avoid unnecessary contact and confrontation! It is becoming a new culture due to its advantage of being convenient and fast. The recent increase in the number of single person households reflects the needs of modern people who would prefer comfortable breaks rather than inconvenient communication. In relation to such needs, untact marketing is spreading to various fields, such as, products, distribution, delivery, and marketing. However, an area that is receiving the most considerable amount of attention is restaurants that use untact marketing! Here, all orders are made by QR codes and applications. When the order is placed, food and drinks can be served by serving robots, in which they bring the ordered food to the table. The serving robot, which uses its autonomous ability, recognizes obstacles and calculates an optimal path to deliver the food. Untact marketing is used in drip coffee cafes as well.
The system that pays for virtual currency through applications is attracting attention, not by ordering with the existing face-to-face system. If people order face to face, this cafe uses applications and uses virtual currency. When orders are placed, non-human robots make drip coffee. The robot utilizes hand drip algorithm that helps adjust the direction and speed of water, which match the characteristics and tastes of the beans selected by the customer. What’s more, there is a robot that serves desserts as well. We explore untact marketing, which applies IT technology, VR, and IoT to real life.
