On this week's "The Diplomat," we meet Brazilian Ambassador to Korea, Luís Henrique Sobreira Lopes. We hear about his thoughts on Korea and Brazil celebrating 60 years of diplomatic ties and introduce various events that have been prepared to honor the occasion. For example, there was a 60th Anniversary Logo Contest in February; in March, Jeon Ok-hee, a popular Korean artist in Brazil, held an exhibition hosted by the Brazilian Embassy in Korea; and in October, the world-famous Assad Brothers held a concert at Walker Hill Theater while a Brazilian Film Festival was also held at Myeongdong's CGV. We hear about the ambassador's vision and projects for his time in Korea and get treated to Brazilian desserts and snacks such as Empadinha and Pao de Queijo. We meet Ambassador Luís Henrique Sobreira Lopes, who has been faithfully carrying on his role bridging Brazil and Korea together on "The Diplomat".
