Coach Man Soo Lee has various experiences as a KBO (Korea Baseball Organization) baseball player and coach. Based on such experiences, he is currently planning a meaningful project.
From 1982 to 1997, Mr. Lee was the glove catcher of Samsung Lions baseball team in Korea. After that he served as a coaching staff for the Chicago White Sox. From 2007 to 2014, he returned to Korea to bench coach and manager SK Wyverns.
During his professional years as a baseball player, he was known as the ‘Hulk.’ After retiring from coaching, he founded the Hulk Foundation and as its Chief Director he helped establish ‘J Brothers,’ a Laotian baseball team. Currently, he also serves as the Vice-President of the Laos Baseball Federation.
Today we sit down with the ‘Hulk,’ Coach Man Soo Lee to talk about his new dream to promote baseball in a country that used to have no baseball infrastructure.
