KIM Kyung-won, chair of the United States Taekwondo Education Foundation (USTEF), has been an instrumental figure in adopting taekwondo as the regular curriculum at about 600 public elementary schools in the U.S.
He is a certified 8th-dan taekwondo grandmaster.
At the age of 22, he went to the U.S. and had a tough time making a living. Now, he is an established grandmaster in taekwondo, who attained his own success.
His wish is to see taekwondo being adopted as the regular curriculum at all the schools in the U.S. We will hear from USTEF chair KIM Kyung-won, on Heart-to-Heart.
