A man who fell for adorable penguins and started studying their private life. Dr. Lee Won-young, the ecological researcher who studies penguin behavior is the man in the spotlight.
He works at the Korea Polar Research Institute, KOPRI, which studies the environments of the North and South Poles. There, he studies wildlife including penguins. Since 2014, he has visited the South Pole every winter to observe and study penguins.
