Millenials and Generation Z are growing increasingly frustrated at rising unemployment, high housing prices and a hyper-competitive society. The feeling of helplessness triggered by the harsh realities has created new lifestyle trends among young people, such as “tang ping” in China, “Satori generation” in Japan and "N-po generation" in Korea. In this week’s edition of Foreign Correspondents, we sit down with our panel of journalists to discuss the common characteristics of millenials and Gen Z and the factors that contributed to shaping these traits. We also shed light on the efforts that are being made across the world to address the challenges today’s youth face.
