Our guest this week: Yu Myung-hwan, Sejong University Chairman and Former Foreign Minister
Leaders from Korea and Japan sat down for the first time in three-and-a-half years, signaling a potential turnaround for the two countries that have been struggling with frosty relations.
On our first installment for "On the Agenda," we sit down with Seoul's 35th Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan, who is also known for his insight into Seoul-Tokyo relations after having served as the country’s top diplomat to Tokyo in 2007. He is currently the chair of Sejong University, and we get the chance to examine the now and tomorrow for relations with Japan through his expertise.
