On this week's “The Innerview,” we meet Kim Il-soo, the Director of the Korea-Africa Center operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
Kim Il-soo has served the country as a diplomat for the past 40 years, during which he was dispatched for the position of Minister of the Korean Embassy in the United Kingdom, Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and Ambassador to Israel.
During the interview, Kim spoke about the 2016 Seoul Africa Festival held in April at the Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul, and shared his insight on the culture, arts and natural environment of Africa. He also provided information on the emerging industries in Africa including fashion, textiles and coffee, and the exchange and cooperation between Africa and the Republic of Korea.
Join us on “The Innerview” this week to learn more about Africa, which has been achieving remarkable growth over the past decade, as well as the bilateral exchange and cooperation measures implemented between the Republic of Korea and the “rising continent.”
