Mt. Sobaek's Jarak Road: A stroll with nature

Remo Berdux, the head chef of the "White Hat" association of foreign chefs in Korea, heads for Mt. Sobaek to feel the autumn air. Follow his seven-hour trek from Sosu Seowon to the top of Mt. Sobaek, and watch as he personally tries his hand at making the signature doenjang and soy sauce of the Yeongju Doenjang Village.

Hachi and Aeri Sing at Samcheok

Hachi, a Japanese singer who fell in love with Korean music, and Aeri, a traditional Korean folk singer, leave together for Samcheok. They ride over the beautiful East Sea on the Sea Train, and walk along Samcheok's Haeparang Road. They stop to give a mini-concert on the street, and move the hearts of everyone around with their voices.

Damyang Metasequoia Road, Filled with the Whispers of Trees

Joshua David Pilzer, a professor at the University of Toronto's Department of Music History & Culture, collects the songs of Korean survivors of the atomic bombing in Japan. He travels to Damyang with only his recorder in hand, and walks along Metasequoia Road under the warm autumn sun. Follow him as he continues on to the Slow City of Samjicheon to hear about its life and history in song.
