On Sunday, the curtains fell on the three-day G7 Summit in the UK with the release of a joint communique between the gathered leaders. The summit was noted for being the first meeting between the G7 leaders in two years, following the cancellation of last year’s event amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It also came under the spotlight in Korea for President Moon Jae-in’s attendance of the summit, the second-consecutive invitation handed out to the South Korean leader.
