The World On arirang

"Will you stand by and watch your neighbor's house burn when ultimately the fire will reach your own?" Filipinos decide to join the Korean War, worried North Korea may make South Korea and their country communist. This movie is about the brave soldiers who fought in the Korean War.

Episode 1. Steady On
Two very different people come to rely on each other during the Korean War, in Filipino territory. They talk about their families and become friends. But the Chinese air force attacks in the middle of the night.

Episode 2. Baptism of Fire
One soldier cannot fight in the field due to a respiratory disease. Despite his desire to fight, his fellow soldiers make fun of him and tell him to do laundry. He wants to receive a war medal and give it to his father, and would rather die on the field then from an illness. In the middle of the night, when the enemy starts bombing the camp site, the commanding officer assigns him on an important mission.

Episode 3. Armistice
Filipino soldier Florce falls in love with a woman named Jang during the war. They teach each other their mother language and fall deeply in love. But Florce must return to the battlefield and Jang weeps. Florce is seriously injured and loses consciousness while thinking about Jang.
