A rising Korean actress Han Ye-ri traveled halfway around the world to Argentina with ArirangTV for a documentary on the cultural exchanges between Korea and Argentina.
As a country with opposite seasons, Argentina has been well-known as a birthplace of tango as well as best known for soccer heros like Lionel Messi to most of the people.
The new Korean Wave has recently penetrated into Argentina with more various contents including K-POP, Korean dramas and films.
Together with ArirangTV, Han Ye-ri visited TELEFE, Argentina's private television network and the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts, or INCAA to hear more about the rising popularity of Korean Wave in Argentina and ways to boost the cultural exchanges between Korea and Argentina in the near future.
Also, Han Ye-ri met with Inaki Urlezaga, Director General of National Ballet of Argentina to learn how to dance tango.
She also had a chance to visit a tango musical team, Grupo Musical La Tanguera and showed traditional Korean dance.
