The Kyunghyang Shinmun, which had continuously raised suspicions of corruption in the selection of outsource productions since February, published a correction report on July 19 on its article "Arirang TV's Shameless President Bang Suk-ho and Corruption Scandal." The correction article said, "Arirang TV never selected outsource production firms that received low scores in the bidding process."
Arirang TV reiterates its statement that the selection of a production firm to produce "Touch Q", Season 2 of "Join Us Korea", back in September involved no pressure, personal influence or legal irregularities whatsoever and was conducted in a fair way.
The following is the full text of The Kyunghyang Shinmun's correction report.
