Arirang TV's interview program 'The INNERview' invited Dr. Deepak Chopra, a pioneer and advocate of integrative medicine, on its May 3 episode.
Dr. Deepak Chopra is a pioneer and advocate of mind-body medicine, which combines elements of Ayurveda, a type of complementary and alternative medicine with its origins in India, and modern medicine. Dr. Chopra, who counts celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jackson and Miranda Kerr among his followers, is the author of dozens of books that have been translated into 43 languages and sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, causing a boom of mind-body medicine in the US and Europe.
On 'The INNERview', when asked about spiritual well-being, Dr. Chopra answered that, "Spiritual well-being is self-awareness, an understanding and observation of oneself to build an inner process such as creativity and imagination." He also emphasized the importance of spiritual healing and introduced the so' hum meditation technique that people can easily practice in order to achieve spiritual well-being.
In addition, his opinion on the mental-health industry that is rapidly growing around the world and other healing techniques were revealed on the May 3 episode of 'The INNERview' that aired at 5PM.
