Arirang TV's leading talk show, "The Innerview" invited Chung Il-young, the President and CEO of the Incheon International Airport Corporation on its 200th episode, which aired on Tuesday, March 29.

Chung, who took office last February, came under the spotlight when he held an emergency management proclamation ceremony instead of an appointment ceremony. He commented that he proclaimed emergency management because he believed that resolving the various issues that the airport faced before he took office was more urgent, and that since his appointment, they have been providing remedial measures that are focused on work sites and swiftly fixing problems.

When asked about the secret to Incheon International Airport's success in consecutively ranking no. 1 in the Airport Service Quality Award (ASQ) starting from 2005 to 2015, Chung answered, "It is because of the airport's convenient and fast immigration service as well as the excellent quality of its other services such as the duty free shops."
In addition, Chung also introduced various services available at the airport as well as its provisions against natural disaster, terrorism and bombing. He also revealed the airport's mid to long-term plans such as the promotion of open skies and the construction of a second passenger terminal in order to become a hub airport in Northeast Asia.
