The South Korean drama "Squid Game," which last week became the biggest-ever series launch for Netflix, will reportedly earn the company almost 900 million U.S. dollars in what it calls "impact value."
This is according to Bloomberg, citing confidential Netflix data.
That means the so-called "impact value" is more than 40 times the amount Netflix paid for the series, which according to Bloomberg, was under 21-and-a-half million dollars.
Bloomberg reports that the series, as of a week ago, had been viewed by more than 132 million of its subscribers.
Around two thirds of those watched the entire nine-episode series.
