South Korea's exports in September of ICT products like semiconductors and phones came to an all-time high for a single month.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy says ICT exports last month amounted to over 21.3 billion U.S. dollars.
That's up roughly 21 percent compared to the same period last year and marks the 16th straight month exports have been higher on year.
The growth in exports was mainly driven by the so-called digital transformation and the global economic recovery.
From a year earlier, shipments of semiconductors were up by about 27 percent, phones by almost 20 percent and computers and computer parts by nearly 50 percent.
