COVID-19 vaccine reservations start on Tuesday for teenagers in S. Korea aged 16 to 17 Updated: 2021-10-05 08:32:28 KST

Teenagers in South Korea aged 16 and 17 will soon be able to book COVID-19 vaccine appointments with their parents' consent.
Reservations can be made online from 8 PM, Korea Time.
Beginning October 18th those who've signed up will begin getting Pfizer's vaccine from Pfizer with a THREE-WEEK interval between the first and second doses.
Reservations for booster shots also start at 8 PM.
Those over 60 and most medical workers will be eligible to receive the extra jab.
This comes after health authorities have been seeing a number of breakthrough cases due to the Delta variant.
