President Moon Jae-in says his administration will do its best until the very end of his term next year to achieve a great transformation of South Korea.
Speaking in Tuesday's Cabinet meeting, Moon said that with heavy sense of responsibility, his government will establish the foundation for this great transformation to address issues such as COVID-19, climate change and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Moon also said we can no longer delay going back to normal life, and called for people's active participation in the country's anti-virus efforts and vaccination campaign.
But he said the road back to normal life will be difficult, noting the recent uptick in new infections.
Moon's five-year term will end in May next year.
