President Moon calls for comprehensive analysis of N. Korea's recent statements, missile tests Updated: 2021-09-28 17:00:32 KST

President Moon Jae-in has ordered his national security team to do a comprehensive analysis of North Korea's recent statements on inter-Korean relations and its latest missile launch and come up with response measures.
He gave the order after a briefing on the launch by the National Security Council.
During the 75-minute meeting, the council discussed the situation and what the North's intentions might be.
The NSC expressed regret over the launch, which it said comes at a time when stability on the Peninsula is very important.
The council agreed to keep close tabs on the North and coordinate with the U.S. and other relevant parties.
North Korea recently said it would consider an end of war declaration, as proposed by President Moon even an inter-Korean summit should Seoul, as the regime put it, restore mutual trust.
