S. Korea to offer booster shots to people aged 60+ and medical workers Updated: 2021-09-26 15:42:49 KST

South Korea is going to soon start administering vaccine administering booster shots for those aged 60 and older and medical workers.
Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum said Sunday that the booster shot program will be included in the vaccination plan for the fourth quarter when it's announced by the health authorities on Monday.
Kim also said, starting early October, the government will shorten the interval between the first and second shots for two-dose vaccines to help get more people vaccinated faster.
Also, vaccines will be made available to adolescents and pregnant women.
