U.S. to discuss N. Korea's ballistic missiles with UN sanctions committee Updated: 2021-09-19 09:20:22 KST

U.S. envoy to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, says the U.S. plans to discuss North Korea's latest firing of ballistic missiles with the UN Sanctions Committee on North Korea.
She made it clear on Friday that Washington is very concerned about the latest test-firings of missiles.
They'll soon be called up to discuss options against North Korea, but it's yet unclear whether this will result in any significant actions.
In March this year, the UN security council rounded up the sanctions committee to discuss North Korea's short-range ballistic missiles but took no substantive action.
