Mark Right, So-called breakthrough COVID-19 infections are surging in South Korea with the caseload now topping three-thousand.
This comes as nearly 14 million have been fully vaccinated as of Wednesday midnight.
Despite being fully vaccinated, according to health authorities, people in 30s had the highest rates with lower rates for older people.
So far, those given the Johnson & Johnson vaccine have the most breakthrough cases.
Meanwhile, the detection rate of the Delta variant has reached around 95-percent in South Korea.
Considering this, authorities say the fourth wave is likely to be around for the foreseeable future.
