We're seeing poor air quailty across the western parts of the country today.
Let's go to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, what's the current air condition looking like?
Well, Ji-yeon. Tonight, there's barely any wind blowing, and ultrafine dusts are continuing to accumulate across the nation. Western parts of the country are seeing high ultrafine dust concentration and have surged to "bad" levels. Dusty conditions are expected to recede as cold winds will start to blow off tomorrow afternoon.
The morning will start off with overcast skies for northern regions, including Seoul metropolitan area. Southern areas will see cloudy spells.
For the daytime, Seoul will reach 17 degrees Celsius, Daejeon and Chuncheon at 18 degrees, and Daegu and Gyeongju at 20 degrees.
A stronger cold front is on the way for Thursday bringing temperatures down to 2 degrees in the capital. Temperature gaps will once again widen, so please dress in layers to regulate your body temperatures.
We’re continuing to see dry conditions across eastern coasts and Jeju Island. The combination of strong winds and low humidity creates a critical condition for wildfires, so please stay alert.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
