President Moon Jae-in highlighted the importance of developing new technologies to help farmers as they'd find themselves short of help in the field with our society getting older.
He was visiting a village in Korea's southeast, where he helped to plant rice.
Moon also checked out agricultural drones and automated rice-planting machines.
The South Korean leader was near the historic city of Gyeongju, in Oksan Sesim Village, which is home to some 2-hundred national treasures and also the site of the Oksan Seowon, a confucian school dating back centuries that's been recommended for the UNESCO World Heritage List.
He was there to encourage the local farmers.
