Kim Jong-un offered to shut down 1 or 2 of its 5 nuclear sites: Trump Updated: 2019-05-20 19:03:30 KST

More details on why the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. abruptly ended the Hanoi summit without a deal.
In an interview with Fox News that aired Sunday President Donald Trump stated that Kim Jong-un had offered to shut down one or two of its five nuclear facilities.
The comments were made while American commander in chief was reiterating his administration's stance in suppressing Iran's nuclear proliferation and underscored his reluctance to go to war.
Trump said he told the regime's leader during that meeting, Pyeongyang wasn't ready to negotiate with Washington, pointing to the other three remaining nuclear facilities and emphasized his willingness to strike a "big deal" with the North while maintaining sanctions.
