It was hot today, but thanks to cloudy conditions, temperatures were milder compared to yesterday's readings. In fact, some regions even received sporadic showers in the afternoon, with chances of more instances of sudden rain to come until way past midnight along with thunder and lightening as well.
And Jeju Island is among the regions with rain in the forecast, with 10 to 40 millimeters of precipitation to fall until tomorrow. Meanwhile Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do provinces shall see 5 to 20 millimeters, while the upper regions including the capital area might experience some drizzling of 5 millimeters or less. And rest of the nation will have a cloudy Thursday.
Temperature wise, the mercury will rise to similar numbers as today, with Seoul reaching 30 degrees Celsius while Daegu, Gwangju, and Busan will climb to 27.
As for other regions
Daejeon and Jeju will reach 28 while Dokdo peaks at 26.
Nationwide rain is in store on Friday with highs in Seoul expected to stay in the upper 20s. However, after the rain, temperatures will rise again over the weekend.
