The U.S State Department says Washington will will continue to maintain strong sanctions against Pyeongyang until the regime changes its behavior and engages in dialogue.
This according to department spokesperson Ned Price on Wednesday, in response to the firing of two cruise missiles by North Korea on Wednesday morning, marking the regime's 19th show of force this year and first since June.
Price also reaffirmed the U.S.' commitment to the defense of South Korea and other allies in the region.
He added that Washington will make sure Pyeongyang is held accountable for its continued provocations.
