Top military officials from South Korea and the United States held virtual talks on Thursday to discuss North Korea's military provocations.
According to Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff, South Korea's Chairman Won In-choul and his U.S. counterpart General Mark Milley, pointed out that North Korea's latest missile launches are threats to peace, not just to the Peninsula but also to the Indo-Pacific region.
Won also touched on the possibility of the regime conducting another ICBM launch or a nuclear test and stressed the importance of close cooperation to counter the North's threats.
The two officials agreed their alliance and combined defense posture has never been more solid.
