The top nuclear envoys of South Korea, the United States and Japan are going to meet next Friday in Seoul.
The South Korean Foreign Ministry says envoy Kim Gunn is going to discuss with his American counterpart Sung Kim and Japan's Takehiro Funakoshi the current state of affairs on the Korean Peninsula and how they're going to respond to North Korea's recent provocations.
The North test-fired three ballistic missiles this week, including one suspected ICBM just hours after U.S. President Joe Biden left Asia.
And there are signs that a nuclear test could come soon, too.
This will be the first time for Kim Gunn to meet with his counterparts in person since being named chief nuclear negotiatior earlier this month by President Yoon.
