South Korea reported 23,9-hundred-56 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases past the 18-million mark.
The figure marks a 16-week low figure for a Wednesday.
Two-hundred-37 critically ill cases and 23 deaths were also reported.
There were 21 imported cases.
52-hundred new cases were added in Gyeonggi-do Province, while 3,5-hundred-86 were reported in Seoul Metropolitan city.
The hospital bed occupancy rate for seriously ill patients is a little over 16-percent, while 140,55 are being treated at home.
