Imports of Japanese beer to South Korea have declined for the third consecutive year due to the continuing impact of a boycott of Japanese products.
According to government data, imports of Japanese beer last year amounted to around 6.9 million U.S. dollars.
That's up 21 percent on-year.
But still accounts for only nine percent of the 2018 level or a staggering 91 percent drop.
Imports of Japanese beer reached its peak that year, but dropped drastically the following year due to a boycott in response to Japan's export curbs.
In the meantime, exports of South Korean beer to Japan last year went up 290 percent to record a 10-year high.
