Korea like other countries is seeing higher inflation, and though Korea's consumer prices in November rose by the most in ten years, the increase was smaller than than in other countries in the OECD.
Korea's consumer price index, according to the OECD, was up 3.7 percent from a year earlier, while the OECD average was 5.8 percent.
The figure for Korea ranked 28th out of the group's 37 member states.
Looking at volatile energy prices in particular, Korea saw an increase of 19.8 percent compared to the average of 27.7 percent.
Food prices, though, did rise a little faster in Korea than the average at 6.1 percent.
