President Moon arrives in UAE for talks with PM, Dubai expo Updated: 2022-01-16 12:10:07 KST

President Moon Jae-in is in the United Arab Emirates for a two-day working visit -- and he'll begin his official schedule today with a business roundtable on cooperation in the hydogren sector.
Moon arrived in Dubai on Saturday -- the first stop on a week-long tour that will also take him to Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The South Korean leader will also sit down for talks Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum -- who is the UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai -- to discuss cooperation in infrastructure, climate action and space.
He is also scheduled to visit the Expo 2020 Dubai to attend a ceremony for Korea Day -- where he's expected to promote Seoul's bid to host the Expo in Busan in 2030.
On Monday, Moon will give a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and visit the Sheikh Khalifa Speciality Hospital -- which is run by Seoul National University Hospital.
Moon last visited the UAE in 2018.
