South Korea’s foreign minister Chung Eui-yong held talks with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto today… discussing a wide range of topics including future industries and science technologies.
Seoul’s foreign ministry said Wednesday that the Hungarian minister welcomes the investment of Korean electric vehicle battery makers in Hungary.
He also reaffirmed his position to strongly support the peace process on the Korean Peninsula.
They also pledged to strengthen cooperation through global bodies including the UN.
The two officials originally planned to meet in person, but held phone talks as one person among the Hungarian group tested positive for COVID-19.
