Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has reaffirmed Beijing's commitment to open up further to foreign investment, stressing the country will maintain stable economic development.
Li making the remarks Monday at an annual meeting with international financial institutions, including the World Bank, the IMF and the World Trade Organization.
Watchers say the comments seem aimed at alleviating global concerns over the Chinese economy, amid uncertainties posed by insolvent property giant Evergrande.
Li also said job creation remains at the center of China's economic strategy, which will contribute to creating a more vibrant economy and provide more revenue streams going forward.
