Good morning. The second week of December looks to be a bit more comfortable than last week, temperature-wise, especially afternoon highs will hover way above the norms, but cold mornings continue so be mindful of big gaps in readings and dress accordingly.
Air quality should be decent for most of the day but toxic smog could blow in from overseas tonight boosting dust levels in the capital region, Chungcheong-do Provinces and Daegu which will remain dusty through tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a dry weather advisory remains in place along the east coast while strong wind continues there, so stay alert for wildfires.
There will be more clouds than sunshine, subzero morning for many areas, minus 2 degrees Celsius, in Gyeongju, Chungcheon and Daejeon.
Then highs will rise fast and going into double digits in most parts. Busan and Jeju will top out at 16 degrees Celsius this afternoon.
