President Moon Jae-will chair a special meeting this afternoon on South Korea's COVID-19 response.
He's expected to thrash out new measures, following the easing of restrictions as part of a gradual return to normal life, which began four weeks ago.
Joining him will be the prime minister as well as other government officials, including the health minister and the nation's most senior health official.
There will be a focus on securing more hospital beds, the swift implementation of booster shots and other containment measures.
The last time President Moon chaired such a meeting was four months ago.
A briefing will be held following the meeting.
