The 13th Asia-Europe Meeting, aimed at deepening political and economic cooperation among its members, kicked off Thursday in Cambodia.
Leaders from Asia and Europe are discussing global issues such as climate change and COVID-19 during the two-day conference, under the theme of "Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Growth."
Cambodia, the current chair, said the member-states will address issues, including multilateralism for global peace and security as well as sustainable growth.
From South Korea, Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum will attend virtually.
He'll speak about the country's response to the pandemic and peace progress on the Korean Peninsula.
